I am a new authority currently using big road as my ELD. Keep Truckin has offered ELD and a front dash cam for 75 a month plus 100 bucks upfront hardware charge. The load board is free whether your a subscriber or not. The rep claims if you get a broker that does not pay or shorts you to report it and that they will get involved free of charge to resolve the issue. Any of my fellow brothers or sisters using this? I am getting along ok with what I have but insurance has specified the better the ELD performance the better the discounts. Tried the demo it seems legit but there are pitfalls as we all know. Input?

I’ve used Keep Truckin for over 2 years now but I only pay for the ELD. No camera, load board, or any of the other stuff. I haven’t had any issues with it as far as the ELD goes.

Not who you asked, but I've had KeepTruckin' for almost a year. I have the maxed out plan without a camera, and it's been a rock solid $35 per month the whole time. Customer service was great too. I would call them if I accidentally used PC instead of regular drive time. But they got me an my wife on three-way and explained how to fix it ourselves on the desktop.
As far as the camera...I have no experience. I use a VIOFO A119 V3 pack with the camera, polarized lens, hardwire kit, and SD card for like a buck-thirty. No way in hell would I pay KT $40 per month for a dash cam. Otherwise, I'd recommend them. Excellent service all around.

Thank you for that. My insurance is through progressive and they have a “smart haul” program that gives insurance discounts when you allow them to track your vitals via the ELD simply to make sure you aren’t driving like the 4 wheelers do with 80k. Being a newbie I’ve had everyone in their brother offering me services but KIT has been the most legit thus far.

I've used it for over 3 years but I don't have their dash cam or use the load board. I once looked at some of their offerings on their load board and noticed they were exactly the same loads being offered on the Uber app. No thanks. Don't pay a monthly fee to use a dash cam. Buy one yourself.

The load board is just a thing they use to help get subscribers. Nothing compared to DAT or Truckstop.
The dash cam to me is way expensive.
I’m not sure what progressive offers you to let them track you but beware, KeepTruckin does track critical events. So how many of them will progressive need to decide they don’t want to ensure you? No way in hell would I allow that unless there was no other recourse.
KeepTruckin’s as an ELD has been pretty good. Makes it easy to track ifta also.

I talked to the KT sales rep and he told me it would be a month before I could get one through them. Also told me no one else in the country could get me one in under three weeks. That was an out right lie. Called Blue Tech Inc and it was over nighted to me. Great people and even had a webinar with them today to explain the whole system to me. Would recommend them to anyone.

Been with KT since before the ELD mandate and its been a great product. The dashboard is informative and makes IFTA very easy .
